Week in Narva - the mission accomplished

Misssion possible

by Estonians

Nikita: I liked this project very much. It was difficult, but funny and
interesting. It helped me to know a lot of new things. I am really happy
that I am in this project!

Kristina: I liked our first meeting and now I know that I will take part
in every project with students exchange. I gained new experience and a lot
of emotions. I met fantastic people. I was happy to take part in this
project.

Angela: Our first week was exciting and educational. The program was very
busy. I especially liked the night excursion to Narva Castle and farewell
party at school.

Julia L:  I am enjoying the project and I want the guests to come to Narva
every year! Children from Latvia and Lithuania are so friendly! It’s a
pity that the first meeting took us only one week

Julja K:  When we were waiting for the  guests in school everyone was very
nervous and afraid, cause we didn't know what was await us, but in the end
of the meeting it was hard to say goodbye. Guests were very friendly,
creative and jolly. I think everyone has only positive feelings. We were
crying saying goodbye, because some of this boys and girls are not only
just guys from the project, they became our close friends.

Arkadi: I liked the project- the people and the activities, and I can’t
wait to see you all again.

Narva - great city and great people

Memories from Narva

The time in Narva was awsome. We had a wonderful time and we met a lot of interesting people. All of us miss you guys, both Lithuanians and Estonians. And teachers, they are brilliant, I think all students will agree on this :)
Latvians are sending some greetings to Estonians and Lithuanians, as we(Latvians) already are waiting the March 9th-15th, 2014.

Memories from Lithuanian team about the week in Narva

Ernestas
This exchange project is very exciting and interesting! On first day I thought I will cry all the time because I don’t know the Russian language but in the middle of the week my host family changed and everything went to the good side. I was very happy! The last days were especially interesting and funny, and the last day party was AWESOME! The most important thing is that I found new friends and I hope to meet them in the future J

Miglė J.
I am so pleased to take part in this project. I have met many people and have become really close with some of them J
This trip was amazing. THANK YOU!

Gerda
It was awesome! This trip was the best thing ever! I loved the excursion to Narva castle, it was very interesting. I miss all of you! Can’t wait to meet you in Latvia!

Donata
I liked the trip and I liked my host family very much. I started to communicate with some of Latvians and Estonians. Thank you very much for the project.

ŠARŪNAS
I REALLY LIKED OUR TRIP. It is the best trip I’ve had in my life! I met new interesting people and had a great time together. Best regards to you, Dima! Already waiting for the meeting in Latvia.

PAULIUS
It was my best trip I‘ve ever had! At first I was a bit shy and people looked not so friendly... but when we got to know each other, we became good friends! The family which hosted me was really friendly and hospitable, I felt like living in my second family J The worst day was the day when we had to go home. Most of us wanted to stay for a longer time because it was difficult to leave our host families and  new friends. Can‘t wait fir our next meeting!

SIGITA
The project is so good! We were shy on our first day but later everything was great. We had many activities at school and in the town. The visit to Narva castle was great! We also had a great time in the educational centre in Tartu.
All the people – new friends were friendly and cheerful, we spent a lot of time together every evening. Nobody was left alone – we took care of each other!
The best thing was a farewell party, we all felt so close. So, this evening was awesome! ...and the day we had to part was very sad. It is good to know that we will meet againJ

Teacher INGRIDA
I am glad I had an opportunity to meet all of you! You are so kind, cheerful and full of different ideas… and you have such great teachers! Thank you Narva for hosting us and taking care of everythingJ Hope we will have much good time during our next meetings!

Kandavas K. Mīlenbahs Secondary School

One for all and all for one: together we can everything

Our school is 35 years old and it has a name of Kārlis Mīlenbahs. K.Mīlenbahs was a famous linguist and he started his way to education exactly in Kandava.

Today there are about 400 students and 40 teachers in Kandavas K.Mīlenbahs Secondary School.

This is the second year the youngest students wear a uniform. We are proud of our school and its name.

Our students are very sportive. We have a sports school united to our school, so many students go and practice there. Athletics and basketball are the main sports, but students also play football, florball, volayball, etc. Moreover they can practice climbing on an artificial climbing wall.

There are many events in our school during the school year like Rhythmics Day, Olimpic Day, Market Day, Singers' Contest, Theatre, Dancing etc. Watch the video and you'll see what we mean.
